My Canon Story
Kelvin Kariithi is a versatile visual artist and Canon Certified Trainer based in Mombasa, Kenya. Known as "the artist in the boardroom," he seamlessly blends photography, branding, advertising, and digital media to create impactful narratives for brands, organizations, government agencies, and individuals.
Born in 1995 in the central highlands of Kenya, Kelvin’s creative journey began in 2016 after earning a degree in Information Technology. This technical foundation complements his artistic expertise, enabling him to approach projects with both creativity and strategic insight.
As the founder of Klenses Images Limited, Kelvin leads a dynamic creative agency specializing in corporate branding, advertising campaigns, and bespoke visual identities. His clients include prominent organizations such as Coca-Cola, UN-FAO, and the Mombasa County Government.
Kelvin’s artistry has earned him national and international recognition. His solo exhibitions, Stitched and Code Blue, at Alliance Française de Mombasa, showcase his talent for visual storytelling. Additionally, his work has been featured in group shows like Holy Bits and Safari Ya Sanaa, and he has ventured into digital innovation by minting NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
A recipient of the CGAP Photo Contest 2018 award in the "Reaching Excluded People" category, Kelvin balances his professional success with a passion for mentorship. Through Canon workshops and his volunteer efforts, he has trained and inspired countless young photographers across coastal Kenya.
Kelvin’s work reflects the cultural richness and diversity of Kenya, blending traditional influences with modern perspectives. A storyteller at heart, he continues to shape the creative industry with curiosity, discipline, and a relentless drive for excellence.
