Trinity zoom lens comparison

With three lenses in their camera bag, photographers are well equipped for most situations. The term "trinity zoom" refers to a trio of lenses with focal lengths ranging from ultra-wide-angle (15-35mm or 16-35mm) to standard zoom (24-70mm) to telephoto (70-200mm). Canon expert Guido Krebs compares the Trinity zooms of the EF series with the corresponding Trinity lenses of the RF series.

The EF lenses are fully compatible with the EOS R cameras using the lens adapter. The newly designed RF lenses benefit from the new RF mount in terms of compactness, weight and quality. In addition, all Trinity RF lenses feature built-in image stabilisation.
