You can use the HG-100TBR grip with integrated remote control in the studio or on the go. The cameras automatically detect whether you are shooting in portrait or landscape mode. The format is automatically rotated correctly for playback or editing. If you use the tilt and turn display for selfies, you can use the markings on the display to check that the picture is framed correctly as you take it. Petra shows you how to get the best sound quality using the built-in stereo microphone or an external microphone. The EOS R8 and EOS R50 can also be used as a webcam. You can even use the Clarity function to smooth out skin texture.
Petra impressively demonstrates how the camera's autofocus automatically focuses precisely on the eyes and maintains focus when the subject moves. A highlight for vloggers and YouTubers is the movie close-up mode, which allows you to get large and small objects in front of the camera in perfect focus. Autofocus automatically refocuses on your face when you move the subject out of frame.
